MUSIC TUITION FEES
Students undertaking private music tuition lessons are charged on a per term basis. All payments should be made payable to St Francis Xavier College or paid at the College office with cash, EFTPOS or credit card.
BUS FEES
Students have access to the College Bus System. The fees for all buses are $450 per student or $650 per family. These fees assist the College to partially cover the huge costs of the bus system. In addition the Bus Travel Conveyance, which we retain in most circumstances, also helps with the costs.
TRAVEL
All travel reimbursements for eligible recipients will be credited against the Education Fee Account. Families who utilise bus services provided by the College do not receive a reduction in Education Fees. The amount of the travel reimbursement in these cases is retained by the College to offset the considerable cost of bus services. All parents who are eligible for the travel reimbursement must still complete the application form regardless of whether they directly receive the reimbursement or not.
WITHDRAWAL OF STUDENTS
The College Principal must be given notice in writing prior to a student’s withdrawal. Without such notice an official transfer note will not be issued.
Students withdrawing from the College during the year will be charged fees for the time enrolled at the College. Pro-rata rates will be applicable until receipt of the official Exit Notification form which is available from the College Office.
EDUCATION MAINTENANCE ALLOWANCE
(EMA) is provided to assist eligible families with the costs associated with the education of their children.

The amount of the Education Maintenance Allowance is $443 per year.
PARENTS AND FRIENDS ASSOCIATION
The excellent support from fundraising activities by the Parents and Friends Association helps considerably in providing facilities for the College. Such support enables fees and charges to be kept to a minimum.
The College seeks your support of this important parent body which meets monthly. If you wish to be a part of this association pleas efeel free to contact them on pnf@sfx.vic.edu.au.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Where parents are separated it will be our practice to send reports and important notices to the parent with whom the student lives. If a separated fee paying parent requests it, we will provide additional copies of these reports/notices for them.
If a family’s situation is changed in any way, ie. separation, it is the responsibility of the parents to contact the College and advise updated address details and fee payer alterations.
